Your Voice into Action - we want to hear about experiences of hospital care

There has been a lot of media coverage recently about the standards of care in hospitals and whether the arrangements for checking such standards are rigorous enough.

One of the roles of Richmond LINk is to feed back the experiences of our population about their health care – and social care in the future – to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to help them as the regulator of health and social care services in England make a good assessment of local services.

We want you to tell us your experiences of health care during 2009 provided in a hospital setting to build a picture of what is good, and not so good about health care locally. Your view and experiences will help us to decide if the safety and quality of a service is up to scratch but we only have until the end of january to pass on your experiences of hospital services.

There were 21 Steering Committee places available and we knew that was always going to be a challenge, but it was a challenge we felt important to meet. Read more here

We are currently making arrangements for the first of the meetings and will send members further details as soon as we have confirmed them with the parliamentary candidates.
